The Black Bears wrestling club has adopted a mission statement to guide its strategic initiatives and actions. The Mission of the Black Bears is: to put their wrestlers on the podium at National Championships and International competitions.
To be recognized nationally as a leader in the pursuit of achievement of excellence in amateur wrestling via athlete development and coach development. Partnership development with the provincial government and the Canada Sport Center Atlantic will help us achieve our goals. Funding received here today will be used to enhance the training and competitions for our athletes preparing for upcoming competitions, including the world championships, Commonwealth championships, Pan Am Games and future national championships.
